Circular Design in Practice: Why Sustainable Business Clothing Is a Conscious Choice

Business clothing and corporate merchandise are more than functional necessities. They are visible expressions of a company’s values and long-term decisions. That is why it matters to ask: what impact do our clothing choices really have?

The event series Circular Design in Practice was created to bring circular design into the everyday reality of business decision-making — through practical examples rather than abstract promises. The first event, Sustainable Business Clothing, is aimed at companies and organisations responsible for ordering business clothing, workwear and merchandise.

Hosted at the Reet Aus Studio, the event shares experience from both international and local collaborations and explores how textile surplus and existing materials can be transformed into high-quality business clothing. One of the featured examples is the PÖFF case study, demonstrating how strong visual identity and functionality can be achieved using limited resources.

In addition to talks and discussions, participants are invited to take part in a local upcycling workshop, offering a closer look into the circular design process. Finished business clothing solutions will also be on display, providing concrete inspiration for future decisions.

"Circular Design in Practice" is designed for organisations that want to make responsible choices without compromising on quality, functionality or design.

The first event, Sustainable Business Clothing, will take place on February 19, 2026, at the Reet Aus Studio. More information and registration here.
